Free Beekeeping 101 Course
Your local beekeeping club is a great place to start learning about bees. It is a chance for you to get involved, and see what beekeeping is all about. You can also pick up handy tips from the experts. Most clubs hold regular meetings, which include current discussions and practical sessions to help new and experienced beekeepers alike.

South Gippsland Beekeeping Club meets at St Peters Anglican Church hall in Leongatha at 7.30pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month Feb - November.
General meetings, to which all are invited, are held on the first Thursday each month except December and January.
The Club meets bi-monthly at 9am on the 2nd Saturday at Olive Pink Botanical Garden, Alice Springs.
Meeting every third Sunday of the month, rotating around members' houses. Meetings start at 2pm and usually go for 2 hours.

We’re a friendly group of active hobbyist & professional beekeepers who meet regularly to share our knowledge, experience and develop our beekeeping skills.
We currently have 28 affiliated clubs throughout NSW and beyond, providing information and support to over 2,900 amateur beekeepers.
The Barambah Beekeepers Inc Club now meets at their Pound Street Kingaroy Clubhouse. Meeting time 9.00am on second Saturday of each month. It is approximately 210 kilometres north-west of Brisbane.
We welcome novices beekeepers to keepers with years of experience in Eurobodalla and surrounding areas.
Club meetings are held from 7 pm to 9 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Meals On Wheels meeting room, corner Bega and Aukland Streets, Bega.
The Northern Rivers club has members from Grafton to the Queensland border. Many members live in the Lismore and Ballina area though the membership extends to Armidale and Urunga. This of course is a large area and depending on the location can mean 2 to 3 hours travel for some of us attending field days.
GCABs welcomes new members, existing members and visitors to attend and volunteer at all events.
The club meets on a regular basis and is a hands-on group. Our get-togethers are held at different locations across the area covered by the club and are often at members’ properties.
The meetings, which are generally held on the 2nd Sunday of the month are well attended and usually there is a hive inspection, with practical demonstrations and workshops, covering a wide range of beekeeping subjects. We often have guest speakers at our meetings.
We meet on the second Wednesday of each month.
Club meetings are held at 7pm the first Wednesday of most months (except January, June & July) at the Taree Showground Tea Rooms, Muldoon Street, Taree.
We meet on the fourth Sunday of the month at the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.

The Mudgee Bee Group is a group of like-minded people, who are interested in bees and beekeeping. The community hives are looked after by the members. Members are encouraged to be ‘hands-on’ helping with inspections, honey harvesting and general maintenance, all the while learning how to manage the bees and the hive best. Guest speakers come along to our meetings to further inform and educate. All this in a friendly, social, safe environment.

The Bathurst Beekeepers meet on the last Thursday of every month.
Wherever possible we schedule meetings for 10.15am on the first Saturday in the month. When Cultural Centre facilities are not available, our next option is the first Sunday of the month.
We meet on the fourth Sunday of the month at the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.
The Central Coast club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at the The Old Tote Trust Rooms, Gosford Showground, Showground Road.

Meetings of our Association are conducted on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm at the Yowani Country Club, 455 Northbourne Avenue, Lyneham.
The Goulburn District Beekeepers Club meets on the third Tuesday evening of the month at the Goulburn Workers Club, McKell Place. 7.30 pm – 9.00 pm.

The Shoalhaven Association meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month in Nowra for committee meetings and guest talks.
Hawkesbury Beekeepers Incorporated meet at 7 pm on the first Friday of each month at the Hawkesbury Earthcare Centre on Western Sydney University’s Hawkesbury Campus at Richmond.
We meet on the second Sunday of the month from 9.30 am till about 3.00 pm. Except on Mothers day and other special days, where we shift the meeting to the third Sunday.

We have over 150 members and meet at Eton St South, Sutherland on the second Thursday evening of each month at 7.00 pm. Our open field day is on the last Sunday morning of the month 10.00 am - 12.30 pm.
Macarthur Beekeepers meet at the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living located at Lot 1 Mt Annan Dr, Mt Annan on the the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm.
The Northern Beaches beekeeping club meets from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at St Kevin’s Catholic School, Lower Hall, 57 – 59 Oaks Avenue, Dee Why. The Northern Beaches Beekeepers Club aims to promote “Responsible Beekeeping through Knowledge” and cater for those thinking of keeping bees through to new and experienced beekeepers.
Our club meetings are held on the last Monday of each month from 6.20pm - 8.00pm, usually at Waverley Council Library, though the venue sometimes varies.
